Before Zdeněk Kott aka Native he began to drum and bass, went through a lot of musical genres from rock through metal to electronic dance scene. His first work was mainly focused on Trance, House and Techno. In 2001 he began to experiment first with broken beats, when he utterly captivated by the rhythms and bass lines of drum and bass. His first tracks presented only his friends and acquaintances from whom he received over time more and more support and therefore decided to present its tracks wider public. He has twice been included on the compilation of promising and talented producers in the Czech competition Youngblood. After that he began to contact other producers as several established partnership. The result was his first release under her wings, and acceptance by the label 4Beat Records.
